A country bar with great food! I felt like I was in a movie when my family walked in for dinner on a Saturday night...All the locals turned and stared at us. It's like a biker bar but their food was truly delicious. All sandwiches do not come with any sides, but the nice thing was you could order any side or appetizer separately for those of us that don't always want fries. I had a fried chicken sandwich, it was great! My husband had a Ditch Burger, a beef patty with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches on Texas toast for the buns and a giant onion ring and barbecue sauce & cheese. A truly epic burger.

Had a great meal and service was excellent. My husband had the ditch burger, he planned to eat half and bring the rest home...he didn't. The grilled chicken sandwich with grilled onions and mushrooms with BBQ was exactly as expected. The pickle chips were fresh and the breading had a kick. The ranch tasted homemade. Our waitress was attentive and sweet. If you like local bars, give The Ditch a try.

Basic small town American bar, atmosphere fits the elderly addictions, darts and lottery machines, nothing on tap but good prices for bottles and cans on the predictable basics, appetizers are all deep fried which worked for us given little else was open Labor Day Eve. We typically get to The Local Tap in El Paso but this fixed us up fine, had heard plenty of uncertain opinions from insanely loud music issues to food not being what it used to be. Our time here was a bit better than what I expected but can see how both issues were not a one time affair. Speakers are quite big, dingy dark neon festooned atmosphere appeals to those needing excessive volume. Combine that with deep fried fare, burgers, and little else makes for a one trick pony. Coming here is a good mental trick in knowing exactly what you're getting into: this is that scene in the Hallmark movie where the clean cut handsome hunk finds himself down in the dumps and doesn't know what to do, grabs a beer and a Ditch burger which is incredible and easy the pick of the menu, gets chatting to the waitress about his problems and ends up with grounded advise to set him straight. I can't ever see myself coming here again, at least until I'm past 50, but the old cars parked out front and casual smoking on the porch is all anyone needs to know about this place.

This was a great small town dive bar find! The bartenders were nice and the service was great. The beer was cold and the bacon cheeseburger was out of this world delicious! They have skinny fries that were tasty too. We will definitely stop back next time we're passing through!
